Upper Peninsula Sheriff Is Looking For Communities Input

The Keweenaw County Sheriff is asking for the community's input and opinions as the county develops plans for a new Emergency Operations Center.

The survey is open until February 23rd with a public meeting to be held February 21st from 5 to 6 at the Keweenaw County Courthouse.

They received a $50,000 Rural Readiness grant from the state. The money is intended to go toward the initial planning of the center, with the intent to support training for various agencies.
