We are Officially in a Silent Depression.

Average Home: 1930 -- $3,900 vs 2023 -- $436,000
Average Car: 1930 -- $600 vs 2023 -- $48,000
Average Rent: 1930 -- $216 a year vs 2023 -- $24,000
Average Income: 1930 -- $1,300 a year vs 2023 -- $56,000

During the Great Depression, the house was only 3 times the average salary. Now it is 8 times the average salary.

During the Great Depression - the car was 46% of the salary. Now it is 85% of the salary.

During the Great Depression - the rent was 16% of the average salary. Now it is 42% of the average salary.

Isn't life supposed to be getting better? This is INTENTIONAL.
