The LORD Looks At The Heart

" Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully." (Ps. 24:3-4)

"But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees; for man looks [a]at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” (I Samuel 16:7)

It's simple, really. Many think they can get away with things because they are good at what they "show" people by appearances; BUT, GOD sees what is at the core of what is really going on and what is real motive for the things we show others. If you want to impress the LORD it starts with getting your heart right with HIM. Amen..
