ECOWAS slammed over ongoing Senegalese protests

ECOWAS has been criticized over its passive reaction to an unfolding crisis in Senegal. Protests were caused by the president Macky Sall’s decision to delay the election of his successor, scheduled for February 25th, by 10 months.
