Line Of Sight For Influence Maps
In this video we show you the line of sight calculation feature for influence maps which allow your agent to calculate where they should put their influence based on their line of sight which is calculated using a map for obstacles.
Your enemies can be on a map and your walls on another and then using this feature, your enemies can put their influence only in places which are seeable by them and not behind walls. This is very useful for range units in shooter games and similar mechanics in other game genres.
The feature is available both in Influence maps https://www.nooparmygames.com/products/wise-feline-influence-maps/
And in Ultimate which contains influence maps but also Utility AI, Smart Objects, Dynamic tags and blackboards https://www.nooparmygames.com/products/wise-feline-utility-ai-for-unity/
