NT Framework 35, Doctrine of Atonement

SBC Family,

This Sunday we have our annual congregational meeting. We have a lot to cover. There will be a secret ballot to vote on repairing the heater and adding an air conditioner. Those who are local members can vote on these matters. If you are local but not present you can also vote. You will receive a ballot.

We're going to look at the Doctrine of Atonement this week. There was some historical progression to this doctrine, like all doctrines, and we will go through some of it because every view has some truth to it. This is helpful because many times a false view does have some truth to it and we don't want to throw that out.

The next week, after we've defined the nature of the atonement, we'll look at the extent of the atonement ("For whom did Christ die?")

Love and blessings,
Jeremy
