How To Clean K&N Air Filter in Car
In this video I show easy step-by-step instructions for How To Clean K&N Air Filter and Install filter in your vehicle. It shows easy steps for how to clean K&N filter, how to wash K&N filter, how to apply K&N Oil and how to lubricate K&N filter.

Step 1: Apply Cleaner
Liberally spray K&N Air Filter Cleaner or K&N Power Kleen onto both sides of your filter
Step 2: Leave filter to soak for 10 Minutes
Do not allow cleaner to dry on air filter by leaving for too long
Step 3: Rinse Filter
Rinse off air filter with cool low-pressure water from clean side out in order to flush the dirt out of the filter
Step 4: Dry filter
Allow filter to dry naturally. I usually leave it overnight to dry. Do not oil until the filter is dry.
Step 5: Oil Filter
Spray K&N Air Filter Oil evenly along the crown of each filter pleat holding nozzle about 3" away.
Step 6: Allow oil to wick for 20 minutes
Step 7: Touch up
Touch up any light areas on either side of the filter until there is a uniform red color on all areas.
Step 8: Install Filter
