Tomahawk Fighting Techniques - Slash

Quick tutorial and demo of the tomahawk slash.

The slash uses the cutting edge of the tomahawk to slice into the target, in the same way a slash from a knife would. From your fighting stance, swing the tomahawk forward toward the target. When you slash, you want the arc of your swing to be as tight as possible to avoid telegraphing the strike. I find it helpful to punch the weapon hand toward the target, and create the slashing arc just before the edge of the tomahawk strikes, and retract it back to your stance as soon as the edge breaks contact, in order to avoid over swinging your strike and leaving your guard open.
