Hear, Oh Israel!

Understanding this word, Echad One. Here O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is Echad One.

Genesis 1:5 YHWH called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. So the evening and the morning were ECHAD. [Two parts coming together to make one.]

Genesis 2:24
Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become ECHAD flesh. [Two people coming together as one flesh.]

Simply put, ECHAD means two or more coming together in unity to become one, or ECHAD.
