Why StarWars Battle Front 2 Died

So I got this game as a Christmas present from Charles and I was genuinely excited to play Star Wars Battle Front 2 because I love the prequel and OG trilogy, but also because I love the Clone Wars series. So I decided to hop in and check it out and make a video right after Christmas time, so technically this video is a bit late, but I thought this would be a good time to release it. But it turns out that I had a blast playing this game, the player versus player combat wasn't bad at all, and was a game I can hop into and play without needing hours of training to keep up with players. But something I realized was that this game lost its fanbase and completely fell off the face of the world. So why exactly did Battle Front 2 die? What was the cause for this game's downfall.
