The full meeting of the Fairfield County Commissioners' weekly meeting for February 6, 2024.

The meeting began with recognizing Healthy Aging Grant recipients with Job and Family Services Deputy Director Heather O'Keefe and United Church Homes/Naviguide representative, Brenda Swiger.

Next, County Budget Review for Fourth Quarter 2023 with Bart Hampson.

Public Comments started at 21:30 and ran through 40:28. Ray Stemen of Lancaster, talked about how Tom DeWeese championed grassroots efforts to stop "green-energy" alternative projects around carbon capture and wind-turbines. Ray also shared a World Net Daily story about how the U.N. through banking pressure is hurting farmers around the world. Ray concluded his remarks with Christian prayer for the Commissioners and county government.

Next, Paris Walker of Canal Winchester and Recording Secretary for the Laborers Union Local 423, talked about the good paying jobs that are afforded by the industrial solar industry and Fairfield County should embrace this for Ohio's energy independence future. Note: Mr. Walker stated he was a Fairfield County resident, but a property owner records search by Rogue Media Reports on Mr. Walker indicates he is a resident of Frankiln County. http://www.423members.org/

Stephanie Taylor of Habitat for Humanity gave an update on their activities and events. https://www.habitat.org/

Sherry Pymer of Millersport (Walnut Township) shared information of how "red states" are closing traditional power plants before having viable substitutes in place and observations from her trip to an Ohio industrial solar project where there are already broken solar panels that are being replaced, thus exposing the environment to potential hazards materials leaking from the broken panels. https://citizensforfairfields.org/

Once again, non-resident activist Field Representative for the Ohio Land and Liberty Coalition, Nick Bundren who spoke in defense of property rights by pointing out the costs of being a farmer are on a continual rise and solar is a great way to defer their costs. https://www.landandlibertycoalition.com/

Lastly, Judy Stemen of Lancaster, spoke on articles about a moratorium on the mRNA "vaccines" and how some COVID relief funds were funneled to illegal immigrants by way of several rounds of $1,000 checks. Judy concluded with information on how there is a corollary spike in blood clot related deaths of those that took the COVID jab.

The remainder of the meeting were items related to the regular County Administrative Update(s) and the commission's "voting pattern".
