Family members call for justice in death of woman shot and thrown from vehicle
6 years ago
Family members of a 49-year-old woman who was shot to death and then thrown out of a moving vehicle are asking for the public’s help so that police can take the person responsible for her murder off the street. Catrina Russell was killed Sunday. Witnesses told police they saw a car pull into the parking lot of the New York Express convenience store on New York Street and then someone fired at least one shot and pushed her out of the vehicle. The driver then drove off, leaving Russell in the parking lot to die. Police are looking for Russell’s boyfriend, Frederick Ford, 52. Police have not named him a suspect in Russel’s death but they do believe he is the last person seen with her before she was killed.
