The Brutal War in Sudan 😭

Nearly 10 months of war, displacement, disease, and starvation have had catastrophic consequences for Sudan’s 24 million children. About half of them now require humanitarian assistance. Schools and hospitals have been destroyed, daily lives have come to a stop.

UNICEF Spokesperson, James Elder, was recently in one of the most impacted parts of the country - Darfur - and reflects on the devastation and loss.

UNICEF and our partners are there and delivering life-saving services. But the children of Sudan need a ceasefire so they can have the present and future they deserve.
