Do you love Me? Part 1

People need to know they are loved! And so they ask, "Do you love me?" It is a wonderful question to ask! We have listened to beautiful songs asking that question. We have movies galore about love! And thousands of poems have been penned on that subject. Sadly, in modern culture, people seek love but only as they define it. And tragically, folks will invent forms of love without the One who created love! And they will use their self-invented form of love without any input from the Bible. Did you know that there was a day almost 2,000 years ago when Jesus asked His disciple not once, not twice, but three times, "Do you love me more than anything or anyone else?" This teaching addresses that question, discusses the interaction/intent of Jesus, and considers the fallout from not loving the Lord according to Biblical standards.
