Attack of the Giant Leeches is an independently made, 1959 black and white classic sci fi horror movie, produced by Gene Corman and directed by Bernard L. Kowalski. Starring Ken Clark, Yvette Vickers, Bruno VeSota and Jan Shepard.

In the depths of the Florida Everglades resides a colony of enormous, highly intelligent leeches, concealed within the murky waters of a profound swamp. When a local fisherman meets a violent demise near the swamp, game warden Steve Benton (played by Clark) takes it upon himself to probe the incident, despite the authorities attributing it to an alligator attack.

In the ensuing days, two additional locals, Liz Walker (portrayed by Vickers) and Cal Moulton (played by Emmet), vanish in the vicinity of the swamp, their clandestine affair concealed from Liz's husband (played by VaSota), who is unjustly accused of their demise, leading to his tragic suicide while in custody. Despite extensive search efforts, including organized parties scouring the surrounding areas, their bodies remain elusive, and two more men disappear without a trace.
