Whether you like them or you don’t, you have to admit that it takes a lot of courage to perform adrenaline sports. They are not for everyone, that is true, not everyone can understand the thrill these daredevils are seeking, but we can all admit that practicing such a sport leads to gaining a great deal of satisfaction.

It all boils down to a hormone called adrenaline. It is released by our adrenal glands usually in really stressful situations, thus getting the name ‘fight or flight’ hormone. What it does is speed up all of our normal body functions, starting with our heart beating faster, making the blood flow faster to wherever it is needed. Along with adrenaline, the body releases other hormones that flow faster through the blood vessels thanks to adrenaline, some of them being the hormone of happiness - serotonin and the natural pain-reliever, the hormone endorphin. This heady mix of hormones is what makes these activities worthwhile to the so called adrenaline junkies. Of course, there is also the knowledge that the love for whatever sport you may be practicing is only shared among a small percent of the human population.

Adrenaline sports require paying a lot of attention to details and keeping a level head at all times. Thankfully, this Japanese skydiver was experienced enough to know that he is in extreme danger. After his parachute gets tangled in the nasty winds, he decides that there is no use in trying to untangle it so he opens up his secondary parachute. Due to the harsh wind and his parachute malfunction, he lands in the middle of someone’s yard, but thankfully he isn’t harmed.
