How To Observe Shabbat While Travelling

What happens when you are on the road, travelling or on vacation and the Shabbat comes upon you? How do you observe and continue to stay at rest while not causing other people to work for you? This is how I observed on a recent trip. I pray that this helps you. Shalom.
