Paul Murphy - 'Embers' . Remake , Session 3 Take 2 of the post-relationship take-down song.
This is Session 3 on 'Embers', Take 1. There's a nuance to this song that is eluding me, but this song does seem to have a lot of fans so, whadda I know? I love playing it - nice hard riff, descending melody line, and a barbed-wire lyric, what's not to love? - but I keep getting swept away by the emotion of the lyric and the riff-to-word combine goes down its own backroad come verse 3 every time. Anyway, I thought I would post these latest versions, this is first of 4 takes laid down this evening.
