Reverse Curl 135lb USELESS??
Some shoulder lifts such as Upright Rows & Underhand Lateral Raises were IMPOSSIBLE for me to do pain-free until l got strong enough. One lift that has gained strength but still feels godawful are Reverse Curls. The pain is in both elbows and hurts down the top of both forearms if l lower slowly. I've noticed that doing them with the thumb alongside the fingers changes the pull completely and feels much better. Using an Axle also feels 'better', but not great. Is it POSSIBLE that l need to fix a certain weakness that would allow Reverse Curls to become a productive exercise? Yup. The problem is that after 40 years, l've tried more than a few things! Am l perfectly fine not being great at Reverse Curls? Yes. Would l like to find a solution? Also yes. Do l think fixing it will affect my training to any great extent? I don't think so. Who knows, an idea may hit me today that fixes things once and for all. You just never know.. God Bless!
