Paul Murphy - 'Embers' . Session 2 , Take 2

I came back to 'Embers' after a couple of days away since writing it. This is the second of 4 takes laid down this evening, none of which went the way I wanted them to - a little loose, shall we say - but this song does seem to have a lot of fans, so I thought I would post these latest versions.

This is one of those songs where I wish I still had a band. Nice hard riff, descending melody line, and a barbed-wire lyric - it's a song made for bass and drum backing.
