ANNOUNCING THE CAUSE & THE CURE/ GIFT & THE CURSE OXFORD WALKING TOUR

To mark the Spring Equinox, (and the date when the stories first begin) I want to take a small group of interested people around the real-life locations in Oxford city centre where the plotlines to my "truth fiction" novels 'The Cause & The Cure' and 'The Gift & The Curse' take place.

Beginning at Gloucester Green bus station I'll be pointing out which aspects of the story happen where, as well as recounting some of the history of this most fascinating of cities, assisted by Oxford residents and fountains of knowledge Ben Emlyn-Jones and Tony Chinn.

After the tour, which will take approximately 90 minutes, we’ll be de-camping to a local pub, where all are welcome to come along.

*** Please note: This tour will be weather-dependent. If, nearer the time, it looks like heavy rain, it will be postponed, as trudging around in the wet will be no fun for anyone! All tickets purchased will be good for the new date, or full refunds will be issued if required. For anyone booking accommodation, it is advisable to only book a tariff which offers free cancellation until as near as possible before the date.

*** Oxford City Council has waged war on private cars! It is therefore extremely difficult to drive into the city centre, and difficult and expensive to park. Those coming from out of town are strongly advised to either take a coach or train into the city, or park at one of the several Park & Rides on the ring road and take the shuttle bus into town.
