8 Tips We Should Expect After Travelling a Long Distance Motorcycle Ride

I look on several YouTube videos wherein it is actually possible to travel alone. I saw someone touring around the world alone so i accepted this fate and value my philosophy that "If other can do it, so am i". At first I was curious looking on picture and told myself how exciting it was to be on that place but I started to learn the fact that

00:41 - 1) THE PICTURE ITSELF DOESN’T SPEAK THE ACTUAL EXPERIENCE.

Expect that travelling alone is actually not easy especially for the first timer and for the weak soul. The moment i tried to travel solo to Lebak and Kalamansig, I told myself to camp on a beach because I expect harmony and peace of mind. I had watched this kind of Serow advertisement in Japan wherein the man camp alone on the woods but in reality I experience the worst.

I brought in my bag everything which was not necessary like camping bag, cooker, cook pot, utensils, camping tent so another rule to avoid further expectation is

04:59 - 2) DO NOT EXPECT YOUR CARRIED ITEMS CAN BE ACTUALIZE AND EVERYTHING YOU CARRIED CAN BE USED, BRING ONLY THE BEST AND THE MOST NECESSARY

Another example is how I accomplished a complete days of travel on different places of Visayas, Minadanao and Luzon with a usual stress so upon travelling long distance like those places I’ve mention

08:20 - 3) EXPECT THAT STRESS IS YOUR EVERYDAY COMPANION, AND SO YOU GET USED ON TO IT

My Luzon travel was actually the most memorable because it was the most recent travel I made last 2018 of March. It was also challenging that I made it for almost 30 days straight different from my previous which only last 11-15 days. So after travelling straight on the different places of Luzon I begun to become emotional every day. I thought it was so easy meeting people enjoying the place then after a while you realize that

09:07 - 4) EVERYDAY IS A DIFFERENT EXPERIENCE

Although you see the pattern that you wake up in the morning, you ride the bike, you find place to eat, you capture memories and images then find shelter in the afternoon. The perks is that the pattern are the same but the experience are different.
A simple asking and simple curiosity to discuss where you are going and what was you mission could already spark an interaction which you can never forget on those moments. Expect that at this moment of time

13:09 - 5) YOU WILL MISSED THE PEOPLE YOU’VE MET

Because after such moments of meeting them, they begun to fade each day and the people you just met just come and go.
Maybe they are still living on the same routine and after such great experience most of the first timer traveler would thought that such great feeling is going to be forever, you also realize that

13:50 - 6) THE REALIZATION THAT YOU SURVIVE THE TRAVEL IS PLEASURABLE FEELING

Remembering your journey motorcycle will always be carried on to your mind alone every single day after a few months. It would still took you 5-6 months until you are now engage back to the society of fix routine. So the point here is that expect that

15:03 - 7) YOUR LIFE MAY BECOME BORING AGAIN AFTER AWHILE

This is because you came from something that others do not had quite experienced and what is all into your mind is the thinking that how other people can experience such kind of journey too. In a way that you really like to share this kind of world you see during a motorcycle which you are struggling to share it to others because they never had the chance to become me.
Lastly, for every riders who are well planned on their travel route would 100% expect that their blueprint plan will never be in accordance to their actual journey. So always expect that

16:46 - 8) THE ROUTE PLAN IS NOT ALWAYS FOLLOWED

The plan was just a plan until you are there, being exposed on the reality. You are exposed on this kind of adventure, this kind of traffic, nature's beauty, the people, community, and city.
