During a three-stop fundraising tour of New York City, President Biden informed business leaders on Wednesday that he views former President Donald Trump as an “existential threat.”

The fundraising event faced disruptions from anti-Israel protesters who obstructed Fifth Avenue outside the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

At his initial stop of the day, an environment-focused gathering at Larry Linden’s Upper West Side residence, the 81-year-old president expressed his concerns.

Larry Linden, the former managing partner of Goldman Sachs, hosted approximately 17 invited guests.

Biden emphasized the potential threat posed by Trump, stating, “There is one existential threat: it’s Donald Trump. He’ll try to undo everything we’ve done… We can’t let that happen.”

He also highlighted environmental challenges, asserting, “There is only one existential threat we face in the world: and that’s the environment,” the New York Post reported.
