The scene along the U.S.-Mexico border in Eagle Pass, Texas, where razor wire has been put up near Shelby Park and National Guard have been deployed to the area in an effort to deter illegal immigration.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott stated Sunday that over 100 miles of razor wire have been erected by the National Guard, championing measures implemented by state authorities. A conflict has occurred between Texas and the Biden Administration over U.S. Border Patrol access to Shelby Park, which is located by the U.S.-Mexico border along the Rio Grande.

A recent Supreme Court decision allows the Border Patrol to cut or move the wire, though a legal battle between state and federal authority continues in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit.
