Originally aired September 18, 2023. In this episode, The Talk Guys discuss the recent visit by Governor Ron Desantis to the great Iowa State Fair for a "fireside chat" with Governor Kim Reynolds. Former President Donald Trump visited as well, but not for a friendly chat with the governors. The politicians also visited the coveted annual Cy-Hawk college football game between in-state rivals University of Iowa and Iowa State University. While discussing the subject of governors, The Talk Guys bring up New Mexico Chief Psycho Governor Michelle Grisham and how she used an emergency declaration to "fight gun crime" by criminalizing the law-abiding citizens of Albuquerque, New Mexico and violating their constitutional rights. The Talk Guys bring an update about the developing situation in the West African nation of Niger and the possibility of another stupid reaction from the West in concordance with the long list of other stupid endeavors involving no-win wars, assassinated leaders, toppled governments, and good ol’ times.
