Originally aired August 14, 2023. On this weeks show Theo and Teepee ask the question: is the US Military too woke to wage war? The Talk Guys do a deep dive and bring up events and evidence that shows that our military may not be combat effective because they have been focusing efforts on DEI and ESG policy rather than focusing on being prepared for war. The Iowa Talk Guys do not condone war but believe that our country should have a strong military in order to defend itself from outside threats. In part 1 we discuss the Obama administrations weakening of the military after Osama Bin Laden was “killed” by US Special Forces, the impact the Trump administration had on the military from 2016-2020, and start a discussion on if the Biden administration policy’s have had an effect on recruiting numbers.
