Mentalism and the Charismatic Gift Called Word of Knowledge

Is the modern Charismatic version of the gift of the Holy Spirit called "Word or Gift of Knowledge" more akin to mentalism than the Biblical New Testament gift? In this video I review and compare the testimony of a well know Charismatic Pastor and a well known Mentalist called Derren Brown. Then I walk through many Bible passages from both the Old and New Testaments to ascertain what is the most likely interpretation of the "Gift of Knowledge". Once we understand what the Bible really says and compare this with the modern expressions of this gift, we are in a place where we can decide what is true and what is false. The argument from Cessation or Continuation is best settled by looking at the actual fruit = the gifts in action.
