He began in 1997 as the Head of Fixed Income for Dresdner Bank and, following the 1998 crisis, served as the Managing Director of Uralsib Bank and later Sovlink Bank, where he authored the well-known Russian Strategy publication - "Truth and Beauty (and Russian Finance)."
