A major government u-turn on 1 February meant manyAfghan special forces who served alongside the Britishwill have their cases re-examined after initially beingdenied entry to the UK.
Also known as "The Triples", they were elite units thatwere set up, funded, and run by the British, but manyof them were denied helped under the UK's AfghanAssistant and Relocation Policy (ARAP).
After Kabul fell to the Taliban, hundreds went intohiding, fending for themselves and hunted by theTaliban. At least six are known to have been murdered, although the real total is thought to be far higher.
