From Olympic glory, to surviving as a Japanese prisoner in a war camp, the late World War II veteran, Louis Zamperini, was an American hero. On today’s edition of Family Talk, Dr. James Dobson interviews Louis’ son and daughter-in-law, Luke and Lisa Zamperini. Together they discuss Louis’ upbringing, his feats at the 1936 Olympics, and the plane crash that stranded him at sea.

About Today's Guests: Luke and Lisa Zamperini
Luke Zamperini is the only son of evangelist and World War II veteran, Louis Zamperini. He accompanied his father on hundreds of speaking engagements spanning nearly 50 years, and has continued speaking and carrying the torch of his father’s legacy. Luke serves as the president and CEO of the Louis Zamperini Foundation. He was also the executive producer of the Unbroken sequel, a film detailing his father’s life. Luke and his wife, Lisa, have one grown son.

Lisa Zamperini serves as the executive director of the Louis Zamperini Foundation. She traveled around the world accompanying Louis on his speaking engagements, and saw how he influenced people for Christ. Lisa and her family reside in Southern California.
