Bombs, cluster bombs, bombies, UXO, whatever you want to call them, Laos is still littered with American munitions some half a century later, rendering nearly 1/3 of this tiny country uninhabitable. Late January 2024, two Lao children (aged 11 and 12) were killed by US munitions, two others badly injured. Manila Chan sits down with the president of Legacies of War - a 501c3 nonprofit - working to de-mine Laos.
