Not everyone who dies goes to Heaven. A vast majority of people wake up in Hell who lived good lives and thought they would go to Heaven. Others seek an escape from the pains of living to find themselves in an eternity of torment. The world's view of salvation based on being a good person has crept into churches, replacing the exclusivity of Jesus's salvific work with a universalist paradigm of subjective, cultural religion. Many who call themselves Christians have likewise never come to saving faith in Jesus.
