INGREDIENTS
â–¢ 370 grams Mustard (Sarson), finely chopped, leaves and soft stems, 2 bunches
â–¢ 250 grams of mixed greens (bathua, spinach), finely chopped
â–¢ 2 small Turnip or radishes, peeled, rinsed, and cut into small pieces, about 65 grams
â–¢ 2-4 Green Chili Pepper, optional; adjust to taste.
â–¢ 1/3 cup Water (use 1 cup for stovetop pot method)
â–¢ 1 teaspoon Salt

Tempering
â–¢ 2 tablespoons Ghee or Butter, or use oil for vegan
â–¢ 1/8 teaspoon Asafoetida (Hing)
â–¢ 2 Dried Red Chili Whole
â–¢ 1 1/2 cup Onion, finely chopped
â–¢ 1 inch Ginger, grated
â–¢ 8 cloves Garlic, minced or finely diced
â–¢ 1 Tomato, diced, about 100 grams
â–¢ 2 tablespoons Corn meal (Makki ka aata), fine ground, also called maize flour

Spices
â–¢ 1/2 teaspoon Red Chili powder, optional
â–¢ 2 teaspoon Coriander powder (Dhaniya powder)
â–¢ 1/2 teaspoon Cumin Powder

Second Tempering
â–¢ 1 tablespoon Ghee
â–¢ 3 cloves Garlic, chopped
â–¢ 1/8 teaspoon Red chili powder, optional, for color
