Ep. #006- Welcome back Mother Munchers! February is the Brazilian month of Carnaval and we are celebrating Brazilian cuisine all month long!

Our movie this week may not be Brazilian per se, but it sure does show Brazil in a different, animated light. 2011's Rio tells the adventure of an indoor pet venturing out into a world he is no longer a part of (since he is an indoor pet). One of the few newer animated films I can still stomach multiple watches, this one if sure looking to pair well with our delicious Feijoada (a.k.a. Brazilian black bean and meats stew).

This is a show where we get the kids to go to bed, cook a meal for at least 2, and enjoy a good movie. Its our way to have Dinner and a Movie dates while battling the busy needs of adult married life.
