El Salvador 🇸🇻 President easily reelected for his stance on criminal gangs

The more I look into El Salvador’s re-Elected President Nayib Bukele, the more I am impressed…

He did the impossible and cleaned up a lot of the gangs such as Barrio 18 & MS13 that has terrorized the country.

• 7,000 soldiers and 1,000 police officers were activated in the Cabañas, as well as the country’s northern border with Honduras. 
• They have arrested more than 66,000 suspected gang members.
• They enacted new laws to allow mass trials of gang members in groups of up to 900 and raised the maximum prison sentence for gang leaders from 45 to 60 years.
