Starting the week off right in Ork mode with some heavy pulling. Like I discussed in my video last night about fatigue costs, since I’m going heavy, I have just 2 movements planned, a row and a pull-down.

Brutally kunnin’ & kunningly brutal 🤷🏿‍♂️😁

First up is the Hammer Strength Row AKA “Gork’s Grip.” Again, in the context of trade offs, I pulled 4x plates for 10+ reps/set last week and that left me a bit fried so this week I’m backing off and going 7-9 reps/set or 3-ish RIR or “Reps in Reserve.” The 7-9 gets me plenty of volume and a massive training stimulus but without that exponential additional fatigue you accrue the closer to failure you get.

After “Gork’s Grip” I moved on to something more Kunnin’ less Brutal, the Wide-Grip Pull-down. Now since I left some fuel in the tank, I went a bit heavier that last week, loading the 160 pin for sets of 10-is reps.

And that’s it. Fresh off the heels of a 45 set week 95 and just about coast to coast travel with more coming up THIS weekend, fatigue management in week 96 is gonna be key!
