Acorn Stairlifts Pre-Purchase Inspections Prevent Major Headaches Later

Buying a used Acorn stairlift?  Be advised that:

1.  There are particular easy-to-damage components in Acorn models 120, 130, and the six sub-models of the Acorn 180 curve stairlifts.

2.  In the Vancouver area, there are four free straight and curved Acorn stairlifts available atm.  Moreover, a disassembled Acorn stairlift is worth no more than $200, in my experience --- unless it was checked by us, before disassembly by the seller.

3.   We assisted several DIY stairlift builders/owners who had to abandon their stairlifts because of fatal, uninformed, choices before they contracted our services.  At an average loss of $3,000.  Several of these wrecked stairlifts were due to incorrect information from inexperienced Acorn company engineers.
