Today I'd like to talk to you in some detail about why I need a campaign contribution from you right now.

Running a national campaign for President is very expensive --- which is why I need your help. I know it's very expensive because I have already spent tens of thousands of dollars of my own money and I plan to spend a lot more in the coming months.

For example, one expense is advertising --- getting our message out, our themes of God, Family, Republic. Because we are a third party, and believe what we believe, it is very difficult to get any press coverage --- national, state or local.

I have been interviewed on Fox News. And the Manchester "Union-Leader" ran a fair and accurate report on my recent trip to New Hampshire. But, to get our message out we cannot rely solely on this kind of free publicity.

We need to run some ads in publications where there's a good chance their readers might respond to our message and, in turn, send us contributions to pay for more ads.

Here's what we're up against which is why I need your help right now. "Human Events" is a 60-year-old conservative weekly newspaper. To run a full-page ad just one time in this publication costs $2,495. Pat Buchanan's magazine is "The American Conservative." To run a full-page ad just one time in this publication costs $3,550. And "World" magazine charges $4,550 for a one-time, full-page ad.

If you help us to pay for ads in any of these publications --- and I hope you will --- the ads will all have coupons in them asking readers to send a donation. This means there is at least a possibility the ads might pay for themselves.

In any event, the first thing we need is money to run such ads to get our message out: Honor God, defend the family, restore the Republic.
