Gina Carano Remembers the Legend Carl Weathers in Heartbreaking Post

Hollywood lost a good one in Carl Weathers recently, as he passed away in his sleep age 76. Apollo Creed, Chubs Peterson, Colonel Al Dillon, however you remember him, you likely have a fond memory of the man's performance. Even in the terrible Disney Star Wars product, The Mandalorian, the character of Greef Karga was a sight for sore eyes, all because of the undeniable charisma of Carl.

Gina Carano, who's character of Cara Dune in the Mandalorian, had an tight on-screen connection with Weathers' Karga, developed into a great friendship off-screen. After her unceremonious firing, Carano revealed that Weathers was amongst the first people to reach out and offer strong words of support to her. Risking a lot for very little upside is a sign of not just a good actor, but a good man.

Everyone has had great things to say about him, and the consistent through line is that Hollywood lost a good on in Carl Weathers. They don't make them like they used to.
