Hiking Vulture Crags: Santa Ana Mountains (Cleveland National Forest), CA.

While taking advantage of the cooler winter weather, I headed over to the Santa Ana Mountains. I had saved the Vulture Crags hike for this time of the year since it is unshaded and usually hot most of the year. I also wanted to be there at a less popular time of the year to avoid an overflow of mountain bikers. I seemed to make all the right choices to be there on this day. I never got run over and I never got in any mountain bikers way. I consider that a win at any time!
