Mounjaro - Week 13 vlog - Weight Loss & Glucose | How will I maintain it?
Please comment if you have any questions or would just like to say hello! I've been using Mounjaro now for 13 weeks. I'm currently on the 5mg dose of this once a week injection. I was prescribed Mounjaro for my out-of-control diabetes. The side-effect of weight loss is a huge bonus for me! I've always been overweight and had all but given up on losing to a healthy level.
The daily log:
4 February 2024, Sunday
Blood sugar - 109
Week 13 update:
Starting blood sugar: 474
Blood sugar high: 109 (Monday and Sunday)
Blood sugar low: 78 (Wednesday)
Blood sugar average this week (week 13): 93.6
Blood sugar average last week (week 12): 90.8
Weight this week (Week 13): 163.8 lbs
Weight last week (Week 12): 166.6 lbs
Gain/loss this week: -2.8 lbs
Starting weight 225-250 lbs (not real sure as I stopped getting on the scale past the 220 lbs milestone. Denial is a real thing y’all).
Starting weight day 1 of Mounjaro (Week 1) 185 lbs. Began Mounjaro for the Type 2 diabetes primarily. Losing some lbs would be a bonus.
-NEW. Foot and ankle pain. Gout? Doctor.
-Sleep
-Mood
-Nausea
-Tiredness
2:30pm- 5mg dose of Mounjaro

3:30am – BM. Loose.
6am- BM. Diarrhea.
11am – Lunch. Ham and cheese sandwich.
5pm – Bag of Popcorn.

11:30am – Lunch. Ham and cheese sandwich. Crackers.
6pm – Snack. Handful of peanuts.

Blood sugar – 78
Walk - 20 minute walk.
10:15am – Breakfast. 2 eggs.

Blood sugar – 90
9am – BM. Very small amount. Not solid but not diarrhea.
4pm – Dinner. White chili. Small bowl.

29 January 2024, Monday
Blood sugar – 109
Walk – 20 minutes complete. It was supposed to be 30 minutes. Chuck is a bit out of practice…look at me blaming it on the dog. 20 minutes per walk will be plenty for the next few weeks.
7:45am – BM. Small. Loose. Feeling like I needed to do more. Just not happening right this moment.
2:30pm – 2 egg omelet. 2 slices of bacon.
