Donald Trump, the former President, provided a glimpse into the criteria he would consider when choosing a vice president and openly acknowledged certain personnel challenges that occurred during his initial administration.

“It’s gotta be who is going to be a good president. You always have to think that,” Trump told Fox Business Network’s “Sunday Morning Futures.” “I have a lot of good people. We have a lot of really good people.”

“I have a lot of good ideas, but I haven’t — and there’s no reason to do that quickly,” he added.

Trump praised Senator Tim Scott (R-S.C.) as “a real tiger” and commended South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem for not competing against him.

He mentioned that he won’t reveal his choice for vice president for some time and admitted to making personnel errors during his initial term, the New York Post reported.
