GORE: “Generation gap on it, and young voters and, by the way, in the U.S. young voters in both political parties, large majorities, are demanding action on this. But as you know, Christiane, the politics of climate have for decades been very challenging because it is, by nature, a global challenge and we’re not always used to dealing with that kind of crisis. It plays out over time periods that are a little bit longer than election cycles and the next polling results, and as a result, it has been a challenge for both political parties.
