GUESS WHAT WAS DISCOVERED UNDERNEATH THIS PYRAMID? LOCATED AT CHICHEN ITZA

Chichen Itza -this mysterious structure is known as the Ossuary, also dubbed "the High Priests Tomb." Standing over 30 feet high, its 4 sides all feature nine staggered layers. Located at the center top between 2 carved serpents is an entrance that descends vertically to the base & then goes another 40 ft beneath it into a cave where seven tombs were discovered along with skeletons, rock crystals & jade artifacts. And according to local legend, there is a 10 mile long tunnel that leads from this cave to a nearby Mayan city!
