Baby Replies To Mom's Questions In Its Own Way

If you were to ask a parent, any parent, what they thought of their child, they will all give you the same answer. Theirs is the best, brightest, most beautiful child there ever was. They are so clever, so smart, so advanced, you can almost hear intelligible words coming out of their mouths when they coo!

Fact is that humans learn their first words by repeating what their elders say to them. That is why everyone will tell you to mind what you speak in front of kids. Their tiny minds absorb like sponges and you never know when that little verbal indiscretion might come spilling out of innocent little mouths! For example, you just have to hear what tiny Lily Grace had to say when her slippery food just wouldn’t stay put on her spoon.

We see adorable little Lily, perched in her high chair and enjoying her snack of mac and cheese with some boiled peas. The mac and cheese doesn’t pose as much of a problem, but those darn tiny green balls just won’t. Hold. Still! Lily picks some up from her bowl and brings the spoon to her mouth, but the peas roll off and fall, causing her to show just how much her toddler brain has absorbed. "Oh, dammit" say those tiny lips like it’s no big deal, but mom and dad caught onto her knowledge and were quick to try and repair the damage!

Usually, babies start understanding some basic words like “no” and “bye-bye” by the age of nine months. By the time they reach a full year, they can say words like “mama” and “dada” and they actually know what they are saying. Up to this point, everything they hear and just a bunch of mumbo-jumbo that sounds right when mom or dad is saying it. Naturally, they might actually try and repeat them. They just won’t actually know what that is.

But when a parent catches on their kid mumbling something that sounds like an intelligible word, it is cause for celebration! This mom, for example, had quite the talk with her one-month-old baby. The kid seems to be quite advanced, seeing how she is able to somehow repeat what mom is saying and time it perfectly.

“Can you say ‘hi’?” the mom politely asks her infant. It looks like the girl is contemplating her answer, but she finally coos something that, surprisingly, does sound a lot like the word mom asked for.

The real surprise comes when mom asks the babe “how are you”. This time the child really struggles with her response, tossing back and forth on the bed until she utters something that sounds like a solid “good”. Of course, this can all be just a cute and surprise coincidence, but we have to give mom kudos for capturing it all on video with spotless timing.

While on the subject of arguing babies, we also would love to recommend you watching this little girl that having a feisty argument with her grandpa. We have no idea what she is saying to him; good thing grandpa does.
