I explain that Disney movies are not original and are just fictional family-friendly movies regarding Zander Bird's favorites; Pocahontas, Mulan, and Turning Red.
I also show why it makes sense to make Turning Red in Toronto ON, instead of New York CIty, Los Angeles, or San Francisco because they only have 1 Chinatown while Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area has 4.
The TTC transit card Meilin holds does not exist.
We use Presto transit cards, pay for the fare ourselves, or buy a ticket to our destination either one way or a round trip.
Littke kids and seniors pay around $3 CND while the general passengers pay around $ CND. Students (elementary middle, high school, college, university) pay around $3.50 CND, though college and university students get a cheaper price when riding TTC transit (subway, bus, streetcar), YRT (York Region bus), VIVA (York Region Bus), Durham Regional Transit (Durham Region bus), Brampton ZUUM (Brampton city bus), and other transit that apply. Students in schools get a special pass and a notification from their school that their student is taking local transit to school.

Meilin is likely taking the 505 Dundas Streetcar that runs from Dundas West Station to Queen Street instead of the 501 Spadina Streetcar from Spadina Station to Union Station as you can see there is a street lane between the streetcar and the sidewalk.

Many of the Disney and Disney Pixar movies are fictional; making dark, gruesome, horrid, and differently writtern written stories and fables into family-friendly versions or a movie that is way off the original story. Some people will believe that and think it's true when it's not.
Hans Christian Anderson and The Brothers Grimm would not approve.

Plus, Canada is more welcoming of Chinese people compared to how USA treats Chinese people. Even though Canada mistreated Chinese immigrants back when the railway was built, Chinese people doing the most dangerous jobs, handling explosives, low pay and not everyone went back to China, and there was a rule where Canadians, white or black had to stay away from anyone who was a Chinese citizen. And there's the coronavirus pandemic.
But Chinese is on one of the top 10 languages spoken in Canada being a multicultural and multiethnic country, which is English, French, Spanish, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Hindu, Arabic, and more.
USA endorses other cultures and use other cultures for their benefit, and English is their only known language. They are also known to be self-centered, which proves why Turning Red would be a bad location to film the movie, especially what former USA President Donald Trump said regarding the Asian community.
