At the second coming of Jesus Christ there will be a resurrection of the dead, but what will become of those who are alive during this most powerful event? Will they escape death and be given new bodies in the twinkling of an eye? And, is the doctrine of the rapture really the resurrection of the dead which will occur on the Day of Judgment?
