Bukit Tinggi's Jam Gadang

Jam Gadang is the name of the clock tower located in the center of Bukittinggi city, West Sumatra, Indonesia. This clock tower has large clocks on four sides so it is called Jam Gadang, a Minangkabau word which means "big clock".

Apart from being the central landmark of the city of Bukittinggi, the Clock Tower has also been used as a tourist attraction with the expansion of the park around the clock tower. The park is a space for community interaction both on weekdays and on holidays. Public events are usually held around the park near the clock tower
