Okinawa Diving: Coral Bonsai

Another great fish watching location. This dive site in North Nago Bay has extensive coral gardens in shallow water. However, this solitary branching coral colony is oddly alone in deeper water. The colony resembles a stunted pine growing in the desert. The twisted trunk and horizontal branches are home and hunting ground for hundreds of fish and other animals.
