Democrat Lunacy - Racist to Close Store Being Robbed Daily

Massive daily theft, the endangering of employees, is no justification to close down a business in a poor, minority district... so says Representative Ayanna Pressley... such an action can only be due to "racism".

Rep. Ayanna Pressley (Democrat) represents Massachusetts district 7. On January, 30, 2024, Pressley went on a tirade on the House floor against Walgreens for announcing their plan to shutdown their store in Roxbury, MA, which is in the district she represents. Pressley accused Walgreens of shutting the Roxbury store because they are "racist", completely ignoring how "defund the police", decriminalizing “low-level offenses,” and "no bail laws" have caused crime to spike. Pressley doesn't explain what she believes are "low-level offenses" are, but since liberal prosecutors refuse to prosecute many crimes, the crimes escalate. Furthermore, Pressley introduced a bill to remove police officers from public schools, leaving America's children vulnerable to criminals looking for gun-free zones.

All the while, Pressley uses taxpayer dollars to pay for security for herself.

As usual, the left-stream media jumps into cover-up mode for Democrats when the public begins to connect the dots between policies pushed and the results they have to live with daily. The major left-stream media news sites bombard the air waves and internet with news articles to declare Walgreens closing has nothing to do with theft... that their must be other reasons for businesses closing in minority areas. You are more likely to find the truth from the reporting by local news outlets.

It is appalling to hear Pressley call people racist to cover-up the horrific situations created by the Democrats and pushed by Pressley herself. During the riots of 2020 committed by BLM and Antifa, Pressley stated there needed to be unrest in the streets. There were over 500 riots that year, with $2 billion in damage across the nation and hundreds of police and innocent people injured and killed. Many of the businesses destroyed were in minority communities, owned by minorities... the very people BLM and Antifa stated they were "protesting" in support of and for to improve their lives.

The truth is, the lives of minorities have been hurt worse than any other by the policies pushed by Pressley and the Democrats. Businesses cannot afford to have hundreds of thousands of dollars of merchandise stolen from their shelves. Those businesses then cannot afford to pay for the lease of the building they are housed in, pay for the utilities, and most of all, cannot pay their employees. Even more, there is absolutely no reason the employees should have to risk their lives just to sell products to the public. That is reprehensible.

Ayanna Pressley not only owes an apology to Walgreens, but she also owes an apology to the people of her district and the nation for creating and supporting bills that endangers their lives and chases businesses and jobs out of their communities. Ayanna Pressley is a perfect example of the D.C. swamp, getting paid with taxpayer dollars and using taxpayer dollars to pay for security for herself, while inflicting destructive and nightmarish conditions on the public.

We all want Donald Trump to drain the swamp in D.C., but that is going to require the people to drain the swamp in Congress. No one who gives preference to repeat-offense criminals should get one more penny of taxpayer dollars or be allowed in a position to inflict more harm on any American.
